Honest matching
The quiz is not decorative. The questions are designed to capture real information about your home. We do not send a plant that needs four hours of direct sun to someone with a north-facing window. That would set both of you up for disappointment.
Matching accurately means sometimes a selection might look less exciting on paper but will genuinely thrive where you live. That trade-off is intentional.
Practical information
The care card that ships with each plant is specific to that plant. Not a generic watering guide. The information covers what this particular plant needs in terms of water frequency, the kind of light it prefers, how it behaves in different humidity levels, and what early signs of stress look like.
Care information should arrive at the same time as the plant. Looking up care advice after the fact, when something has already gone wrong, is a harder situation to be in.
Seasonal awareness
Plants are not static objects. They respond to changing light levels, temperature shifts, and humidity changes across the year. The seasonal tip sheet acknowledges this. What to do when heating systems dry out indoor air in winter. How to adjust watering when summer temperatures rise. These are things plant owners encounter but do not always know to anticipate.
No long-term pressure
Month-to-month means month-to-month. There is no minimum subscription period. Subscribers can pause when they travel, cancel if life changes, or resume whenever they are ready. The service should be something you choose each month because it works for you, not because you are locked in.
Growing with you
Experience levels are not fixed. Someone who starts as a beginner builds confidence over months. The quiz can be retaken and selections adjust accordingly. A subscriber who began with very forgiving plants can move toward more interesting and demanding varieties as they feel ready.
